These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of newsleak. By using our services you agree to these Terms.

Service description

newsleak is a weekly digital publication delivered as an ebook and HTML email. We publish one issue per week. Paid members get access to every issue and the complete archive.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Don’t share your sign-in links. Notify us at fc.agent@synexuis.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscriptions and payments

• Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime through the billing portal linked from your account page.
• Founding memberships are one-time purchases for lifetime access.
• Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
• Payment data is handled by Stripe. We don’t see your card number.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Content and intellectual property

All issue content and materials are owned by newsleak or our licensors. You may read, download, and share your subscription content for personal, non-commercial use. Don’t republish, resell, or scrape the archive.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share paid content with people who haven’t subscribed.
• Attempt to break authentication, tier gating, or other controls.
• Use the service to send spam or abuse.
• Scrape or crawl the site at a rate that burdens our servers.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account anytime from the account page.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be emailed to active subscribers.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
